Staff, Faculty, Students, Parents, and Community Members,

This morning a piece of metal flashing fell off the roof near the Elementary school entrance during student drop-off. Thankfully, no one was injured. Regardless, the safety and security of our students, parents, teachers, staff members, and everyone on school grounds is our highest priority. We are conducting a full investigation of the matter, and representatives from the company involved have been contacted and are addressing the issue immediately. We are also working with the contractor to ensure that they are taking all necessary steps to prevent such an incident from occurring again.

I will keep the Mohawk Community updated as we learn more.
