What is the role of the Treasurer?
The Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the District. The Treasurer works with the Board of Education and the Superintendent to ensure the prudent fiscal management of the District's funds. It is our goal to provide transparency of the district's operations, audits and projections.
About Roy Swartz:
Roy received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron. He is a Licensed School Treasurer and a Certified Public Accountant. He has experience working in both municipal government and public schools. Roy has 22 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer and 10 years experience as an assistant Treasurer.
Roy and his wife Vickie have two children, a twenty nine year old son who lives in Northeast Ohio and a twenty-one year old daughter who attends the University of Findlay and is a member of the Marching Oiler Brass.
